Just a note to say you guys did a great job. Everything went better then we expected and our guide Benesario was great. Special kudos to our driver Israel, he was also there always and waiting and that was nice as I tend to be a little bit of a worrier. We were lucky with our weather but your choice of hotels and places to visit was outstanding as was our ability to fine tune our plans on the fly. I wanted to write to you and thank you for putting together a wonderful trip for us. It was very professionally done with attention to details. The drivers and guides were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Sergio, our guide, shared an abundance of knowledge with us that helped make the places we were seeing much more meaningful. He worked well with our drivers, Julio and Israel to see that we were well attended to. Also our guides at Tikal and Copan were equally so. We especially enjoyed the highland area and namely Lake Atitlan. The resort there was spectacular in all it's amenities and it's location on the lake. We could have spent several days right there alone. Antigua is a wonderful city, as was Chichicastenango, and Panajachel. We have a new understanding and respect for a wonderful, colorful country. Thank you for your hard work. The last minute change in plans worked out for the best. We stayed at a nice hotel in Guatemala City. I think I stayed there before but it has been completely renovated. Downtown Guatemala City has changed much since last time. It is very clean and has a safe atmosphere. Nice restaurants too. We got to Tikal a little later than planned but stayed many hours and saw most of it. Terry was impressed with Tikal. We got great exercise as we climbed most of the temple and pyramid steps to get the best views. In Belize we went snorkeling and saw manatees, sharks, huge sea turtles and lots of fish. We went to Altun Ha and the Belize Zoo. My next project is to get American Airlines to give us something as they goofed up our flight. Our connection left minutes before we got to the gate in Miami.
