This itinerary is designed for the people who love to get in close contact with nature. Included are walks in the lush rainforest, two hotel nights and one outdoor night in hammocks, visits of various Mayan sites such the little known Nakum and Yaxha where Survivor was filmed. It also includes Tikal and a Canopy Tour. If you would like to continue discovering Guatemala, we can easily extend your itinerary to other attractions and highlights such as Antigua, Chichi and Lake Atitlan.

Day 1: Visit of Tikal National Park...
In the heart of the Guatemalan jungle lays the mysterious Mayan city of Tikal. In this remote region, one of the greatest civilizations of all the times constructed a city that lived during centuries. The site of Tikal is in a national park where you will experience history surrounded by flora and fauna. Our visit last about 4 hours and includes lunch at a restaurant in the park. Later that afternoon, we take you back to your hotel in Flores. L

Day 2: Flores – Canopy Tour – Yaxha – Nakum...
After breakfast we head out to the rainforest towards the biggest Canopy Tour in the area. It consists of 13 platforms that are 40 to 116 meters separated from each other. You will slide from one tree to the next to enjoy the tropical vegetation and a gliding experience for an unforgettable experience! Then we continue the day towards Yaxha where we will begin our guided walk of 17 km (11 miles) through tropical forests. During that walk, we will have lunch on route. Later in the day upon arrival in Nakum, we will set up the camping equipment and visit the mysterious site of Nakum before the sunset. Then we have dinner and get ready for a well-deserved rest. Day 3: Nakum – Yaxha – Flores ...
After breakfast, we will observe birds and other animals of this area. At around 9:00 am we will initiate our second walk towards Yaxha (approx. 10 km / 6 miles.) where survivor was filmed. We will have lunch on the border of Lake Yaxha and watch some crocodiles. After lunch, we will visit the Mayan site of Yahxa until dusk and then return to Flores in the early evening. Day 4: Flores – Guatemala City...
After breakfast we will take you back to the airport of Flores for a short flight back to Guatemala City. B
