Participation
in the Exhibition of Educational Materials and Artisan Ware
in the First Hemispheric Conference on Indigenous Education
This First Hemispheric Conference on Indigenous Education promises
to provide an ideal forum for presenting textbooks, teacher manuals
and other pedagogical materials that are relevant to the bilingual
classroom. Attending the conference will be several hundred participants
from throughout the hemisphere ranging from teachers to researchers
and policymakers. Numerous languages will be represented including
Spanish, English, Portuguese and indigenous languages. Of particular
interest are materials in Spanish and, to the extent available,
materials that address indigenous and multicultural issues.

I. National and international publishers
II. Educational projects or programs that develop educational materials
III. Small, community, indigenous business and organizations that
produce educational materials and artisan ware

to participate?

Download the registration form, fill it out and return to the
executive committee at one of the following contacts by June 15
2001 (forms submitted after that date will be considered space
permitting):

Pay the use of a stand or table in the location of your choice.
- Accept
the following conditions of participation:
The
exhibitor may sell or exhibit materials only within their designated
space within the stand.
Each
exhibitor will be responsible for the order and vigilance of their
stand during the hours of the event including overnight arrangements.
Each
exhibitor will set up their stand the 24th of July in the afternoon
and will take it down before 6PM on the 27th of July.
Educational
programs and non-profits will be given priority to the use of the
tables surrounding the Plazuela Biltmore
- View
the Hotel Camino Real map guide and the layout of stands in the
Salon Izabal, the exhibition room, to select the space desired.
Stands are located in Salon Izabal and tables are located in the
corridors surrounding Plazuela Biltmore.
- Then
select the option (stand or table with or without lunch) that
you prefer:
Option
A - a 1.5 meter x 2.4 x 1.5 meter stand in Salon Izabal (locks
at night) with lunch for the three days US$185
Option
B - a 1.5 meter x 2.4 x 1.5 meter stand in Salon Izabal without
lunch for the three days US$150
Option
C- a 2meter table in the courtyard surrounding Plazuela Biltmore
US $60 with lunch
Option
D- a 2 meter table in the courtyard surrounding Plazuela Biltmore
US $25 without lunch
